Blog #1
​
In the very first week of this semester, I was not really excited to start clases back up and I was right. The very first week consisted of homework on the very first day. Other then the overwhelming odds of assignments and dedication already set forth, the semester is very manageable and resourceful.
​
I have done three events so far during the first week, I did two welcome desk shifts and one event which was the celebration of U.C Blue Ash 200th birthday. I assisted in speaking with students, the president of U.C and serving deserts to anyone who attended.
​
I impacted being in this event by conversing and engaging with the faculty members and making them feel comfortable. I impacted by welcoming freshman and seniors back to the campus to start or finish their semester at Blue Ash.
​
During this week, I focused on my studies and completed months worth assignment so that I would not over stress. So far, I am doing well in my classes and succeeding

​
In the second week of this semester, I continued to fix my schedule and prepare for the semester but it seems like there's a lot more to be prepared for. I have more assignments that I can complete and more task to finish.
​
I have only done two events during this week. I did my usual welcome desk shifts and one event which was the 4th annual leadership retreat. Nothing unusual occured this week but assignments but I really had a lot of fun at the leadership retreat.
​
I impacted being in this event by conversing and engaging with the faculty members and newcomers. I impacted by welcoming and engaging in many activity.
​
During this week, I focused on my studies once more and tried finish more assignments. So far, I am still doing well in my classes and succeeding in everything else.

​
In the third week of this semester, I completed another welcome desk shift and assisted radiology students in settling in for the semester. I have also attended E.C.G and encouraged the members to engage in activities.
​
I have done three events during this week. I did my usual welcome desk shifts and one event which was the radiology tech info. The other event I had was the English Conversation group which was simply a club created on helping students get together. Nothing unusual occured this week but assignments but I really had a lot of fun at the leadership retreat.
​
I impacted being in this event by conversing and engaging with the faculty members and newcomers. I impacted by welcoming and engaging in many activity.
​
During this week, I completed some assignments for my foreign language course and math courses. I have done well in most of my classes and learned a new formula for my mathematics class.

​
In my fourth week of this semester, I finished up my daily welcome desk shift and attended one event which was my student tour. I always feel anxious and excited about these tours. I only had those two events this week.
​
My welcome desk shift was usual and so was my tour. Out of 4 people, only two showed up. It was pretty interesting getting a one on one with the parent and student and giving them my student feedback. Nothing unusual occured this week but I really had a lot of fun doing them.
​
I impacted being in this event by welcoming students in and letting them engage in our personal experience of UCBA. I was able to assist a lot of people at the welcome desk and made people feel happy that they may possibly be part of the UCBA Family.
​
During my fourth week in this semester, I had difficult statistics quizzes and African history exam but I managed as always.

​
In my fifth week of this semester, I completed a welcome desk shift and attended few event which were meetings. I assisted the event planners (ambassadors) and decided on themes and ideas.
​
I attended an African read in and preformed. It was an amazing experience to have and share with my audience. I'm glad that UCBA has certain activities and events like such. I also did another welcome desk pick up.
​
I impacted being in these event by encouraging others to perform and share their art pieces while influencing my own success and beliefs. . I was able to cheer a lot of people on, as well as myself.
​
During my fifth week of this semester, I had difficult statistics quizzes which I didn't do well on but I aim to do better next time. In my spanish class, I managed to do well on my exam but for my African history exam , I struggled a little bit.

​
I did a welcome desk shift and a tour for highschool students. I assisted the ambassadors of event management decide on decoration while assisting some on video tips. I attended a interview for the scholarship and helped in the AH career center.
​
I was able to be part of serval videos this week, engage in activities and give my very first high school tour. It was exciting to do so many events this week because I felt more resourceful. My favorite part about these event and week is that I was able to join and be part of another club.
​
I impacted being in these event by encouraging the highschool students about wanting to come to college while making my presence known to a beginning club. I impacted in being in the club by encouraging others on how easy it is to get members
​
During my 6th week of this semester, I am still struggling in my math course, history and now spanish. I beens tuck in a slump of overwhelming work but I always find a way to manage. So far, I am doing very well in my English course.

​
During the 7th week, I contunited a regular Welcome desk shift and attended open house. I also help translate and give mini tours during open house. I haven't done many events other than the welcome desk and Open house.
​
I was able to translate, help and tour others. My favorite part of the Open house was how easy the set up and station were, I was able to give maximum effort in everything I did. It was fun seeing the upcoming students come see the college and hearing most of them wanting to transfer over to the college.
​
I impacted being in these event by encouraging the high school, parents and seniors about transfering to the University of Cincinnati blue ash campus. I informed them of the many clubs that were open and the benefits they get from going to to the Blue Ash college.
​
During my 7th week of this semester, I am doing better in my math course, I am currently succeeding and my classes and reviewing the materials ahead of time.

​
During this week, I did my daily routine of my welcome desk but with a twist. I was able to attend and help with the taste of the world event that a fellow ambassador had planned. I also performed at a talent show, hosted as an MC and also gave a student tour.
​
Other than the welcome desk shift, I was really excited to help with the taste of the world event. I was the Dj and had fun explaining the different kinds of food. I also enjoyed giving my tour of 11 people because I have gotten really good at it. During the UCBA Writing and Study Skills talent show, I highly enjoyed MCing because I made a lot of people laugh, smile and enjoy their time.
It was a really good experience and memory to keep. I also enjoyed performing at the talent show even more because it was nerve racking but I knew I could do it. It was an amazing feeling knowing that I came in second places with some of my friends. All and all, I enjoyed the experience of all three events.
​
I impacted being in these event by encouraging, cheering, and influencing others to do great also. I encouraged others by showing them that they can perform and not fear it also. I cheered on those who preformed or attended theses events. I influenced others by informing them about the college and encouraging them to be part of the family.
​
During my 8th week of this semester, I am doing much better. I believe that I did well in my African History Exam, however, I did not do so well in my Spanish or my Math. Those are still working in progress but I will bette them later on.

​
During this week, I finished a welcome desk shift. I haven't really done any events this week. Other than the welcome desk shift, I was glad to hear and know that spring break was around the corner. I finished my midterm exams and started my early stages of my final.
​
I didn't impact anything this week but if I were to make an impact, I would say I impacted myself the most this week because I was able to focus on my midterms, hobbies and classes.
​
During this week, I did better then usual. I was able to ace my midterm exams, finish some assignments ahead of time, and be able to enjoy my weekend. So far, I have been doing really well in all my classes.

​
During this week, I finished a welcome desk shift. I also attended an ambassador meeting and the escape room meeting. I also did an actual escape room which turned out to be very fun.
​
I made an impact in being in the Escape room meeting by helping generate ideas. I impacted being in the escape room event by getting experiences. I also enjoyed being at this event because I impacted the encouragement of making the escape room.
​
During this week, I did better then usual but sadly a lot of assignments were due the next week. I am worried that I will struggle more in the upcoming weeks.

​
In this week, I finished a welcome desk shift as usual and did a few events here and there. I was able to do and complete the final open house as my last semesters as an ambassador and was also able to help out in the distinguished award ceremony.
​
I made a positive impact in being in the final open house by guiding and helping parents and soon to be UCBA students apply, get directions and go on tours. I impacted in being in the Distinguished Faculty Award Ceremony by cheering, encouraging those who received awards while also guiding their peers and family members around the area to find seats, snacks or engage in a friendly conversation.
​
During this week, I did much better in managing to complete my assignments, quizzes, and tests. I was able to keep up to the changing semester. I am now in my final stage and I am I trying to keep up with this ending process.

​
In the 12th week, I completed my routine welcome desk shift and helped out in the Veterans cookout event. I also attended the final escape room meeting before the launch. it was a pretty calm week minus the ton of assignment I had to do during the 12 and soon to be 13th.
​
I made a positive impact in being in in the escape room meeting by pitching out the last ideas I had, helping finalize the event and organize the shift and roles we had to do. I impacted the veterans cookout by being apart and helping out any way I can. I assisted with sign ups, directory and trafficking. I also served food.
​
During this week, I wrapped up most of my stressful assignments and started my final projects. I am almost done completing everything else. My grades are still looking good and I am keeping up with my classes.

​
In my final week as an ambassador, I did my ending welcome desk shifts and did one of my favorite event so far. It is sad that this is my last semester as an ambassador but I was grateful for the experience. I will miss most of the work and time it takes to do those fun activity but I feel like I left with something.
​
I made a positive impact in being in in the escape room because I had the chance of meeting really interesting people and seeing my friends compete with one another. I didn't do anything else but enjoy the finals of the semester.
​
During this final week of class, I enjoy the many assignments that were handed down to us. My grades are still looking good and I am keeping up with my classes. No issues so far but I did prepare for the upcoming semester and the ending finals.

​
In my post-Final week as an ambassador, I continued to do my ending welcome desk shifts, and did my last event which was cooking with the family. I also went and celebrated the award ceremony with my ambassador team.
​
I made a positive impact inthe cooking with the family event by prepping the food, tools, and setting up a comfortable environment for everyone to work in. I was able to also clean, assist, and guide others with instruction and make the event much more fun.
I impacted being at the award ceremony by encouraging myself to appreciate the accomplishments we set out as individuals and as a team. Being able to support each other has really impacted me as a whole because I learned that teamwork actually does make the dream work.
​
During this final week of class, I completed all the assignments i had to do and final projects. I was able to finally relax while plotting out how I wanted to end my semester. So far, this semester has gone well.
